We want the best possible placement for your child

Summit Academy provides a transformative educational experience for students and families desiring a unique and intentional educational environment. Our low student teacher ratio provides a safe, caring, and challenging classroom in which each student can be the best version of themselves.

  • While a formal diagnosis is not a requirement, the students we serve may be diagnosed with a number of neurological disorders.

  • At Summit Academy, we pride ourselves on considering the whole child during our admissions process.

We invite you to tour Summit Academy and visit our classrooms.

Preparing for Your Tour

To help us better understand your child’s needs, if applicable please provide documentation such as:

  • school progress reports
  • psychoeducational assessments
  • IEP
  • 504 Plan
  • Special Education Evaluation

Student Shadow

At this stage, we will schedule a shadow day (two for Pre-K/K) so your student can experience a typical day at Summit.

  • Please note: If there are no openings in your student’s instructional level, you may ask to be put on the waiting list. The date of your application determines position on the list. If your student needs additional testing to determine specific placement in Summit Academy’s program, it will be scheduled after admission has been confirmed. Please feel free to contact us with any questions – we are here to help you!
