win the roses at the Kentucky Derby. Now Summit has a race of it's own -- to see who
will get SLIMED at the end of year carnival! Help us raise money for

We will be offering a
half-day Summer Camp this summer for rising K - 3
students as well as Summer
Tutoring for rising K - 9. Please direct any inquiries to Rebecca
Hoffmann. More information to come.
All 8th graders will have portraits taken this Thursday, May 7.
The pictures will be taken outside, weather permitting. Please have
students arrive in the clothes they would like their picture taken
in and bring along a change of clothes for afterwards.
This week, May 4 - 8, we are collecting money for WHAS Crusade for Children through
our annual Coins for Crusade. This is our way of giving back to an
organization that has provided funding for our Pre-K/K programs, technology advancements, needed
equipment and instructional materials, and more. But
it's also a way to see who we get to dump a bucket of SLIME
on at the end of year carnival!
There are collection containers in the lobby for each
participating staff member. The lucky one with
the most money at the end of the week will get SLIMED.

Monday, May 18:
This will be the LAST club meeting & will be a
Water Fun day! Students will need to bring swim suits,
water shoes (any shoes that can get wet), towels, water
toys... No need to RSVP since this will be during our regular

all enjoyed seeing our Tykes' Peak students parade their floats
around the school on Thursday! They were impressive!
