Throws Club Meet

Congratulations to all our club members for a great meet and even better sportsmanship!

We had many new school records set at the meet. View the full results here.

  • Seth Anderson set a new record in shot put in the 1st-2nd Grade Division with a toss of 16'7" besting the old mark of 13'11" set by Corey Jackson in 2013.
  • Teddy Payne set a new record in the Hammer Throw in the 3rd-4th Grade Division with a toss of 32'10" besting the old mark of 20'1" set by Connor Higginbotham in 2014.
  • John Spugnardi beat all his own records in the 5th Grade & Up division set in 2014. His discus mark was 46'1" - more than 12 feet farther. His shot put mark was 25'9" - almost 5 feet better than 2014. He saved the best for last, throwing the hammer 64'10" crushing his old mark of 40'9".

·         Hudson Hurt set a record for discus throw in the 1st-2nd grade division with a toss of 20'6", beating the old mark set by Seth Anderson of 18'10" in 2014.
