There are only four more Fitness Club meetings this year! Here are some important dates
to add to your calendar:

Thursday, April 30th: Rock Climbing from 6:00-8:00. This is a FAMILY event! ALL Summit families are welcome. Cost is $15 per climber. Please RSVP to Mrs. Mathews by Monday, April 27. Mrs. Mathews needs 2-3 adults to volunteer to "hold the ropes" for climbers. It's really easy! Please let her know if you can be there. Climbers need to have this wavier completed in order to climb:

Saturday, May 9th: Throo the Zoo 5K 8:00am: Register online HERE. Registration is currently $35 per racer. Please RSVP for this event to Mathews by Monday, May 4. She will have a little something special for each student who completes the run/walk. J

Monday, May 18: This will be the LAST club meeting & will be a Water Fun day! Students will need to bring swim suits, water shoes (any shoes that can get wet), towels, water toys... No need to RSVP since this will be during our regular club hours.

Spring Drama Production

We all enjoyed seeing our Drama Club perform Grans Guide to Stop an Ogre (Also Works for Witches & Bullies)! The show was hilarious but the message against bullying was strong and relevant for children in today's world. Great job, guys!

Thank You for Sending Ms. Lee Payne Packing!

Lee Payne is the lucky winner of the Send a Teacher Packing Raffle! The ticket was sold by Aidan (6th), who will get a party for 10 at All About Kids! Thank you to all who purchased tickets - we were able to raise over $1100!

Do You Have A Story To Tell? you like to share a story about your experience at Summit Academy?

We are looking for personal stories we can share with others who may not know about our school and mission. Your story could be included in newsletters, donor communications, on our website and/or social media outlets, as well as in our marketing videos. We can share numbers and facts - but it is the personal stories that make the true impact!

We want to hear from parents, grandparents, students and teachers. You don't have to write a novel - just a few words or paragraphs on the impact Summit has made in your family or your own life. Your story can also be submitted anonymously. Stories can be submitted via email to Teri Hardman
