Veteran's Day - the day we remember America's veterans
and honor them for their patriotism, love of country, and
willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
Hope our students are enjoying the day off!
Mountaintop Breakfast was a success - thanks to all the involvement
from our parents, grandparents, students, community leaders and
staff. Our speakers did a fantastic job of sharing the Summit
Academy story with the over 250 guests - and our Summit Singers
you to everyone who helped make the event happen - whether you were
wielding a glue gun, tying ribbons, stuffing envelopes, speaking at
the event or helping with any other numerous activities, your help is
greatly appreciated. We couldn't have done it without
is just around the corner (kind of) - and in Kentucky, that means
basketball madness! This year, Summit Academy plans to
"tip off" your basketball frenzy with the 1st annual Bluegrass
Bourbon & Basketball event on Saturday, March 1, 2014. The
event will be held at Gingerwoods in Prospect and
will feature a live auction, bourbon tasting and a chance to show
your team spirit! We are looking for folks to be a part of
our planning committee to help us put together a top notch
event. If you are interested or know someone who might be,
please contact Teri
