Dear Chevonne,

The first full week of school is here--time to get back into the routine and settle in to another great year.

We hope to see all of our new parents at this week's New Parent Social!

This year, our students will be practicing Bal-A-Vis-X as part of their P.E. program.

September 7th is Parade Day!

Summit Academy students, parents, teachers, and staff march down Main Street in the Middletown Parade every year.  After the parade, it's back to Summit for a picnic for all of our families! More information to follow.

I need volunteers! Please contact Chevonne via email or 502-244-7090 if you can help decorate the float or drive a car in the parade.

ALSO, we are still in need of a trailer for our float. Please let me know if you have one you can lend.

New Faces at Summit year, we welcomed several new Faculty and Staff members to our crew:

Welcome aboard!

Special Needs Youth Sports at the YMCA

TOPS (The Opportunity To Play Sports) is designed so that any child and teen, ages 5-14, who has a physical or mental disability has the opportunity to make new friends, have fun playing sports and learn teamwork. Our rules are made to enable each child towards success.

TOPS sessions include practice and scrimmage games. All will be held at the Northeast Family YMCA.

Give with Target

Target is donating a total of 5 million dollars to schools over the country! In order for Summit to get a share of it, we need to "vote". We have to get 25 votes to be eligible & earn $25. Each additional vote = $1.

Spread the word and ask your friends & family to vote for Summit ONCE a WEEK!
